Ukrainian and Russian Orthodox funeral flowers
In Ukrainian and Russian Orthodox tradition, funeral flowers are given in even numbers. We follow the custom for every sympathy order, so you never have to worry.
The customs we follow
- Even numbers for funerals. Sympathy bouquets use an even number of flowers. Odd numbers are for happy occasions like birthdays.
- Wreaths. Oval and teardrop wreaths are traditional for the service and for visits to the grave.
- Memorial days. Many families bring flowers on the 9th and 40th days after a passing, and on the anniversary. We can have flowers ready for each one.
